Personalised Coaching From Someone Who's Been There

People and organisations are both looking for the same thing – alignment of values and direction. But when we’re searching for jobs or trying to grow in our careers, we focus on skills and tasks rather than what I call “power skills” – how you approach problems, find solutions, and provide direction.

My coaching is rooted in actual C-suite experience. I’ve been in executive positions myself, and I’ve also hired executives. I understand both sides of the table, which means I know what it takes to succeed at that level and what hiring managers are actually looking for.

Career Coaching

When you’re looking for a job, the world thinks, “They must be flying high; it can’t be any problem for them.” But the reality is different. Our career coaching isn’t just about updating your CV and LinkedIn, but focuses on belonging versus just fitting in.

We start with deep exploration to identify your values and what you do uniquely well that creates value for organisations. I’ll stay with you throughout the entire process until you find the job you want. When rejections hurt (and they do, no matter who you are), I’m there to bring you back to reality. When it’s time to negotiate, I help you get what you’re worth – typically 10-20% more than you thought possible.

When you find a place where you belong – where your values align with the organization and you believe in the company’s direction – you become a better leader and make a greater impact. That’s not just good for you; it’s good for the organization too. When there’s true alignment, everyone benefits.

Executive coaching

Everyone faces self-doubt and challenging situations they don’t know how to solve – even successful executives. It’s lonely at the top and, sometimes, it can be hard to see the forest for the trees. When you’re in an executive role, having someone with an outside perspective – someone who understands the unique stresses and responsibilities you face – can be invaluable. It also doesn’t hurt to have somebody else in your corner for those times when the shit really hits the fan.

our Process

Coaching Tailored
To fit You

What makes our approach different is that we focus on value creation, not just skills or experience.

At the executive level, you’re not hired to complete tasks—you’re hired to achieve business outcomes. Instead of saying “I’m good at problem-solving,” you’ll learn to communicate that “I open up new opportunities” or “I find solutions to business challenges.” People love this process because it gives them clarity about how to present themselves rather than just listing skills. You’ll learn to articulate your “special sauce” and the specific value you create for organizations. This shift in perspective makes all the difference in positioning yourself as an executive who doesn’t just fit in but truly belongs in the role you’re seeking.

My coaching process is highly personalised and from our very first call we’ll be looking at things like where you’re at right now, what you are dealing with at work, what your aspirations are, if we can work together, and whether or not I can actually help you. This’ll tell me what areas we need to focus on and which exercises might help us to achieve your goals.

When we begin working together, I’ll guide you through a series of exercises that help reveal what you truly excel at when stakes are high. We’ll look at things like what tasks you confidently take on, those you’d rather avoid altogether, and everything in between. Through your responses, I’ll gain a clear picture of your natural strengths and the areas where you’d naturally defer to others with more expertise. This isn’t about weaknesses—it’s about understanding your authentic professional identity.

From our discovery work, we’ll distill your professional essence into three to five core attributes that define your value. These aren’t just skills—they’re deeper aspects of who you are. We’ll craft these into a brand statement that captures your unique value to companies. This becomes our anchor throughout the process, turning the traditional job search on its head by starting with your value proposition.

Next, I’ll ask you to document everything you’ve accomplished in your career, with as many numbers as possible. We’ll organize this document into a matrix that maps your achievements to both your previous roles and your core competencies. This creates a powerful resource that shows not just what you’ve done but how those accomplishments reflect your essential professional strengths.

With a clear understanding of your core value, we’ll explore job opportunities that might not have been on your radar. This expansion of possibilities often opens doors to higher-level positions. For each opportunity, we’ll customize your application materials by emphasizing the most relevant aspects of your experience while eliminating elements that don’t speak directly to that specific role.

Most people approach interviews reactively, trying to anticipate every possible question. My approach is different. With the core attributes we’ve identified backed up by your achievements, you’ll control conversations regardless of questions asked. Like a skilled politician redirecting to key messages, you’ll ensure interviewers hear about your achievements no matter what they ask, giving you confidence and control.

Throughout our work together, we’ll track measurable data to monitor your progress. We follow metrics like recruiter profile visits, search appearances, and application responses at 14-day and 90-day intervals. This data-driven approach keeps us focused on what’s working and where we need to adjust our strategy.

The job search process sometimes takes longer than expected, and that’s when my role as cheerleader becomes crucial. I’ll be there to provide guidance, maintain your momentum, and help you stay focused on communicating your unique value.
