When you’re looking for a job, the world thinks, “They must be flying high; it can’t be any problem for them.” But the reality is different. Our career coaching isn’t just about updating your CV and LinkedIn, but focuses on belonging versus just fitting in.
We start with deep exploration to identify your values and what you do uniquely well that creates value for organisations. I’ll stay with you throughout the entire process until you find the job you want. When rejections hurt (and they do, no matter who you are), I’m there to bring you back to reality. When it’s time to negotiate, I help you get what you’re worth – typically 10-20% more than you thought possible.
When you find a place where you belong – where your values align with the organization and you believe in the company’s direction – you become a better leader and make a greater impact. That’s not just good for you; it’s good for the organization too. When there’s true alignment, everyone benefits.
Everyone faces self-doubt and challenging situations they don’t know how to solve – even successful executives. It’s lonely at the top and, sometimes, it can be hard to see the forest for the trees. When you’re in an executive role, having someone with an outside perspective – someone who understands the unique stresses and responsibilities you face – can be invaluable. It also doesn’t hurt to have somebody else in your corner for those times when the shit really hits the fan.
What makes our approach different is that we focus on value creation, not just skills or experience.
At the executive level, you’re not hired to complete tasks—you’re hired to achieve business outcomes. Instead of saying “I’m good at problem-solving,” you’ll learn to communicate that “I open up new opportunities” or “I find solutions to business challenges.” People love this process because it gives them clarity about how to present themselves rather than just listing skills. At this stage we will deconstruct your career journey to identify strategic strengths and leadership assets. We will extract key inflection points and red threads. I will provide future mapping exercise to define desired leadership direction and impact area.
In this module we will create a coherent, professional leadership narrative. We will work on the clarification of leadership style, personal values, and your unique contribution. We will structure your personal storytelling for CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and networking conversations.
We will define your target role, sector, environment and leadership culture fit and develop a strategic market map based on ambition and values. We focus on an alignment of career goals with real-world opportunities.
We will be training in executive-level job search tactics including recruiter engagement, direct outreach and network activation. We will build professional visibility in targeted markets and sectors and structure outreach campaigns and proactive opportunity creation.
The focus here lies on the preparation for executive and board-level interview scenarios. We will be training in framing, strategic storytelling and objection handling and develop an executive presence, gravitas and narrative control.
Finally, we will strategically evaluate offers, including benchmarking, risk assessment and decision modelling. We will develop assertive, respectful negotiation techniques and structure the negotiation conversation across salary, bonus, benefits, equity and conditions.
The job search process sometimes takes longer than expected, and that’s when my role as cheerleader becomes crucial. I’ll be there to provide guidance, maintain your momentum, and help you stay focused on communicating your unique value.
